Tool Repair

We have the expertise to repair all major brands of air, electric and battery tools. KAT's technicians have hands on experience in repairing and calibrating industry-standard tools. We understand the capabilities of the tools you use and depend on during production.

Warranty Service

KA Technologies can provide factory warranty service right at our facility. Tools that are still under factory warranty, this can mean no repair costs to you (except shipping). We offer the convenience of local pick and delivery service. Our repair facility can check with the factory to determine if a warranty still applies to your tool.

Repair Estimates

KAT provides cost estimates for customer approval before any service begins. The flat labor rate is the same regardless of the time required to repair tool. Spare parts cost will be taken from the most current published price list from manufacturer.

Tool Upgrades

There are instances where the cost of repairing a tool exceeds the value of acquiring a new tool. KAT’s technical staff will contact the customer if the repair cost exceeds 50% of a new tool. Our staff can offer recommendations regarding the point of diminishing returns on repairing a tool.

Customer Site Calibration

KAT's certified technicians are available to come on site. We can test, calibrate, and, in some instances, perform light repairs if necessary at your facility. This service will minimize down downtime and turnaround time when calibration is required.

Technical Solutions

KA Technologies offers expertise over the phone technical service. Our sales and service staff can offer programming assistance to your DC electric torquing strategy. KAT’s staff can provide suggestions to ergonomic solutions surrounding the operator use of power tools.

On-site application tool consulting

KA Technologies will send a sales engineer to your facility to review your application on line and make a recommendation on hand held and/or fixtured tools. We will also recommend what type of torque testing equipment fits your company’s data collection requirements. Our sales engineering team can review screwfeeding applications and determine if a particular screw if feedable.

Error proof solutions

KA Technologies offers sequential fastening control systems which allows the operator to tighten the fasteners in the right sequence, at the right torque with the right tool position. We do this by using encoders to determine X/Y positioning.

KA Technologies is also involved in many types of error proofing for assembly processes.
